Ever wonder about what the residents are up to during breaks? Just as diverse as the residents themselves, their spring break experiences vary widely and reflect their interests and personalities.
Sean Keeley, ’24 went back to his hometown in Dallas, Texas, during the break. He had a great reunion with his family and friends. In addition, he traveled to Florida with his family and enjoyed the warm sunshine by the beach. During his leisure time, Sean played video games with his friends at Prep.
Jason Oh, ’25 took an international flight back to Korea to visit his friends back home. Similarly, William Ming ’26 flew to Qatar, where he visited art museums in Islam, enjoyed local cuisine, and attended mass at a mosque. He then traveled back to China, bringing his camera with him wherever he went to record every delightful moment.
Alex Murphy-Glidden, ’25 and Eric Cruz, ’25 went to London with the Prep Rugby team to play against local teams. Their opponents were tough, and Alex unfortunately broke his arm, causing him to miss some matches. After their games, they also toured University of Oxford, one of the world’s oldest universities.
Mr. Rothenburg, on the other hand, prefers quietness and a peace of mind. He read a couple of books over the spring break and also enjoyed the cherry blossom in D.C.
The residents are truly a diverse body, from their cultures to their passions. Let us carry forward these memories from spring break and embrace the diversity that makes our community such a wonderful place.
